Meet Merrill Shaffer
I am the author of two books and a co-author of a third. My works explore the history of high school and professional football, and the effects of the pandemic on the world of sports. I retired after a 22-year career in law enforcement. I am a diehard fan of the Southern Columbia Tigers, Susquenita Blackhawks, Palmyra Cougars, Bloomsburg Huskies, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Philadelphia professional sports teams. I enjoy researching the history of all sports. I also enjoy most kinds of music and love music history. I share a wonderful life with my lovely wife and our beautiful daughter.
